Gratz Industries worked closely with the architectural firm of Asfour – Guzy and the Bromberg brothers owners of the Blue Ribbon restaurants on the new Blue Ribbon Grille that opened in the lobby of the Thompson hotel at 6 Columbus Circle. The blackened steel column covers, wainscoting, decorative hardware, bar and sushi bar cladding and steel cabinets were fabricated by Gratz Industries and co-ordinated and installed by Antarctic Construction. Gratz Industries also fabricated the hotel’s unusual front door handles made of stainless steel and insets of aniline dyed blue geodes which were designed by Steven Sclaroff.
