Gratz Indstries is very proud of its fabrication of two monumental bronze screens for the 299 Park Avenue headquarters of UBS Bank. We worked with Gensler principal Ed Wood and project architects Christopher Barbaro and Eric Ginsburg in prototyping and developing the design of the screens in addition to providing the required engineering, fabrication and installation. Gratz Industries created these screens which are twelve feet wide and twenty three feet high in sections and assembled the parts on-site based on the staging and delivery requirements presented by the client. The iconic bronze interwoven panels are a counter point to the lobby’s other larger than life design features and the graceful ornamental stone work which is visible on the façade of the Waldorf Astoria Hotel directly across the street.
